    The community is invited to attend the 18th Annual Sultan Harvest a FREE, volunteer-driven Thanksgiving dinner that welcomes all who wish to attend. Known as the event “Where no one eats alone”. Sultan Harvest takes place in the Sultan High School Commons Thursday, November 28, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. THANKSGIVING DAY!

  1. Reconsideration Hearing - Daisy Meadows

    November 21, 2019, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    The City of Sultan Planning Department held a public hearing on August 1, 2019 to consider a 70-lot subdivision named Daisy Meadow. After the public hearing the Hearing Examiner issued a decision approving the subdivision with conditions. The Hearing Examiner then issued an Order Accepting a Request for Reconsideration and Setting the Matter for Further Hearing. A second public hearing has been scheduled to consider the matters presented in the two requests for reconsideration and any directly related matters. This would include Conditions 11 and 13 contained in the Hearing Examiner’s decision as well as the Yew Avenue connection. The public hearing shall reopen at 1:00 p.m. on November 21, 2019 at Sultan City Hall-Council Chambers 319 Main Street, to receive public comments on the issues listed above related to the Daisy Meadows Subdivision. A public hearing is held to consider the proposed change of zoning from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential.

  3. Public Hearing - 2020 Budget

    November 21, 2019, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ City Hall Council Chambers

    Notice is hereby given that the 2020 Budget for the City of Sultan has been filed with the City Clerk. Public hearings will be held on the 2020 Budget beginning on November 7, 2019 and will be continued to November 21, 2019 during the regular Council meetings at 7:00 PM in the Sultan Community Center at 319 Main Street, Sultan, Washington at which time public input will be taken. Written comments may be sent to the City Clerk at PO Box 1199, Sultan, WA 98294-1199; or via email at cityhall@ci.sultan.wa.us.

    The City of Sultan will hold a public hearing on November 22, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Sultan City Hall-Council Chambers 319 Main Street, to receive public comments on the “Wyndham Highlands 1 Subdivision”. A public hearing before the Hearing Examiner is held to take public comments and consider the proposed subdivision. The applicant, Land Resources NW, LLC, has applied for a preliminary plat approval for a 171-lot single family development on 23.41 acres. The project is zoned Moderate Density. The comprehensive plan designation is Moderate Density.
