The City Administrator is tasked with oversight and supervision of all City departments, including Planning, Finance, and Public Works. He is responsible for carrying out policies adopted by the Sultan City Council and acts as a liaison between the City and various agencies including law enforcement, the fire district, and the school district.
Meet Your City Administrator
Sultan City Administrator Will Ibershof was appointed to the City Administrator position by Mayor John Seehuus in August of 2018.
Will comes to Sultan with experience in both the public and private sectors. He served as an elected official in the city of Duvall from 2001 to 2018, simultaneously performing the duties of the city administrator for 10 of those years. During that time he also maintained full-time employment with Waste Management, managing municipal contracts.
A Duvall resident since 1989, Will moved to Woodinville at the end of 2017 upon the conclusion of his service as an elected official. He is a father to three boys: Matthew, age 20; Justin, age 18; and Alex, age 16. Will enjoys hiking and kayaking in his free time.
