City Administrator
Responsibilities
The City Administrator is tasked with oversight and supervision of all City departments, including Planning, Finance, and Public Works. He is responsible for carrying out policies adopted by the Sultan City Council and acts as a liaison between the City and various agencies including law enforcement, the fire district, and the school district.
Meet Your City Administrator
Sultan City Administrator Will Ibershof was appointed to the City Administrator position by Mayor John Seehuus in August of 2018.
Will Ibershof has lived in the area for the last 30 years. Prior to working for Sultan, he worked for another small City in the Snoqualmie Valley. Will has a BA from University of Puget Sound and a Master’s degree from the University of Washington in Public Administration. Will brings experience in community engagement, public infrastructure projects, and developing teams and partnerships with a variety of organizations.
Will and his wife have three sons, two in college at Western and a recent High School graduate. Will enjoys the outdoors and telling Dad jokes.
