• Respond to citizen complaints regarding building, land use, and animal control.
• Assist with the investigation and enforcement of ordinances.
• Care for kenneled animals, and provide for the humane disposal of injured, diseased and unclaimed animals.

• Two years experience in code enforcement and/or animal control.
• Completion or ability to complete within one year of hire date, the Washington State Animal Control Academy
• Valid Washington State driver’s license
• Experience involving intensive public contact desirable
• Ability to pass criminal, polygraph, driving, and background checks

• High School diploma or GED

• $16.07 to $18.25 per hour
• Must join Teamsters Local 763 and pay appropriate union dues
